Analog Antenna vs Digital Antenna

Analog TV signals will be switched off by the end of 2013 so if you want to keep watching Freeview™ free-to-air television you will need to be "digital ready".

Freeview™ is Australia's free digital television service which delivers all your existing TV channels plus extra TV channels ... for free!

To be "digital ready" you have the following options:

• Install a set top box on your existing analog TV
• Continue using your analog TV with a personal video recorder (PVR) or subscripton TV services
• Purchase a digital TV with a built-in tuner
• A new digital antenna installation to receive signals on your digital TV

Note : you will need one PVR or set top box per television.

TV antennas and equipment suitable for Digital TV is also suitable for analog but the reverse is generally not the case.

Set Top Box Installation
